Crafting a custom jewellery piece is a collaborative and rewarding experience. Here’s how we transform your vision into a wearable work of art:
1. Initial Consultation
We begin by discussing your inspiration, whether it’s a sketch, photo or simply an idea. Together, we’ll explore design preferences, metal choices (gold, platinum, rose gold) and budget to create a brief that reflects your unique style.
2. Expert Gemstone Selection
Our in-house gemologist will guide you in selecting the perfect stone, considering:
Cut (brilliant, emerald, pear etc.)
Colour (from classic white to vibrant hues)
Clarity (eye-clean or with natural inclusions)
Carat weight (balancing size and value)
3. Design & Approval
Using your input, we create detailed sketches or digital renderings. We’ll refine the design until it perfectly matches your vision, adjusting proportions and details as needed.
4. 3D Modelling & Casting
Your approved design becomes a 3D-printed wax model, allowing you to see and feel the piece before crafting begins. This ensures perfect fit and proportions.
5. Handcrafted Metalwork
Using traditional techniques, we cast your piece in the chosen metal. Our artisans then carefully shape, solder and add finishing touches like engraving or textured details.
6. Stone Setting & Quality Control
A master setter secures your chosen gemstone, whether in a classic claw setting, sleek bezel or delicate pavé arrangement. Each piece undergoes rigorous quality checks.
7. Final Finishing
The jewellery is polished to a brilliant shine, with optional additions like rhodium plating or personal engraving.
Why does your jewellery cost so much?
Let’s be honest—when shopping for jewellery online, it’s easy to get sticker shock. You might see a similar-looking ring or necklace elsewhere for half the price and wonder, “What makes this one so special?”
The short answer? Because we refuse to cut corners.
Imagine the difference between a handmade, slow-cooked meal and a microwave dinner. Sure, both fill you up—but one is crafted with care, while the other is mass-produced for speed.
That’s how we approach jewellery.
We don’t mass-produce. Every piece is made one at a time, by skilled artisans who take pride in their work.
No assembly lines, no rushed polishing. Just meticulous attention to detail.
If we made things cheaper, they’d look and feel cheap too. And where’s the luxury in that?
2. Gemstones Handpicked by Our Gemmologist (No Bulk Bins Here!)
Some jewellers buy gemstones by the bucketload—grabbing whatever’s cheapest and calling it a day.
Not us.
Our gemmologist personally selects each and every stone, ensuring your dollar goes to the right stone.
We don’t settle for “good enough or that'll do.” Every gem must meet our strict standards before it even gets near a setting.
That means no dull, treated or glass filled stones—just vibrant, eye-catching beauty.
Quality That Lasts (Not Just Looks Good for a Week)
Ever bought a “bargain” piece of jewellery, only to have it tarnish, break, or lose stones within months?
Yeah, we hate that too.
Our metals are solid, not plated—so they won’t flake or fade.
Every prong, clasp, and setting is reinforced for durability (because jewellery should survive real life, not just Instagram photos).
We’d rather charge a fair price for something that lasts decades than sell disposable trinkets.
Ethical & Transparent—No Hidden Surprises
Cheap jewellery often comes with a hidden cost—whether it’s unethical mining, exploited labour, or misleading marketing.
We do things differently:
Ethically sourced materials (because beautiful jewellery shouldn’t come with guilt).
Honest pricing—no artificial markups just to run fake “sales.”
Full disclosure on gem treatments (no sneaky enhancements passed off as natural).
So, Is It Worth the Splurge?
If you’re looking for jewellery that’s as unique as you are—crafted with care, built to last, and designed to turn heads for years—then yes, absolutely.
Cheap jewellery is an expense. Fine jewellery is an investment.
Does the Jewellery Come with a Certification?
Important info from ACCC
When purchasing jewellery online in Australia, one of the most critical questions to ask is: “Does this piece come with proper certification?” Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), sellers must provide accurate descriptions and guarantees regarding the quality, authenticity, and value of their products. Here’s what you need to know to ensure you’re getting the real deal.
Why Certification Matters Under Australian Consumer Law
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) enforces strict regulations to protect buyers from misleading claims. If a seller advertises a piece as “solid gold,” “natural diamond,” or “genuine gemstone,” they must provide verifiable proof—or risk breaching ACL guidelines.
Key Protections Under Australian Consumer Law:
False or Misleading Claims Are Illegal – Sellers cannot falsely represent the quality, composition, or origin of jewellery.
Consumer Guarantees Apply – You have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund if the item does not match its description.
Proof of Authenticity Required – Reputable sellers should provide certification documents to back their claims.
What Certification Should You Expect?
Gold, Silver & Platinum must be accurately labelled
925 for sterling silver
375 or 9k/9ct for 9 karat gold
583 or 14k/14ct for 14 karat gold
750 or 18k/18ct for 18 karat gold
950 or PT950 for platium
Red Flag: No hallmark or vague terms like “gold-toned” when sold as solid gold.
Gemstone Certification: Trusted Lab Reports
Diamonds: Look for GIA (Gemological Institute of America), IGI (International Gemological Institute), or AGS (American Gem Society) reports.
Coloured Gemstones (e.g., sapphires, opals): Certificates from Gübelin, LOTUS, or a gem report from the GAA adds credibility.
Red Flag: Sellers who avoid providing certificates or use terms like “lab-created” without disclosure.
Independent Valuation for Insurance
A written appraisal from a certified gemologist helps with insurance claims and resale value.
Under ACL, inflated valuations without justification could be considered misleading conduct.
Can I resize my ring?
So you've found your dream ring, but it's not quite the right fit. Before you panic, let me tell you - most rings can be resized! But (and this is a big but), there are some important exceptions you need to know about, especially when it comes to delicate designs with shoulder stones.
✨ The Good News: Most Rings Can Be Adjusted
Standard Resizing Options:
Metal matters: Gold (yellow, white, rose), platinum, and silver rings can typically be resized up or down 1-2 sizes
How it's done:
For making larger: The band is stretched or cut with additional metal added
For making smaller: The band is cut and a section removed, then soldered back together
Pro Tip: Always ask about sizing beads - they're a great solution for rings that spin or for knuckle-fit issues!
⚠️ The Tricky Part: When Resizing Gets Complicated
Shoulder Stones - The Delicate Balance
When sizing down rings with shoulder stones (those beautiful accent gems along the band), the metal compression can loosen settings. Even a half-size reduction may require re-tipping prongs or re-seating stones to prevent loss. More stones = more risk.
Eternity Bands - The No-Go Zone
Full eternity rings (with stones encircling the entire band) physically can't be resized traditionally. Cutting the shank would displace multiple stones. Some jewelers offer sizing bars as an internal fix, but this changes the fit, not the size.
Alternative Metals - The Unbendable Truth
Tungsten, titanium, and ceramic rings resist resizing due to their hardness. These can't be soldered or stretched—your only options are exchange or wearing a spacer. Always confirm sizing before purchase.
Antique Rings - The Fragility Factor
Older rings often have thin bands or weakened solder points from decades of wear. Resizing risks cracks or stone loss. Laser welding helps, but some pieces are better left as-is with sizing alternatives.

This is a truly beautiful piece. Heirloom quality. It’s extremely beautiful but not too gaudy to look fake… thank you to the artist, I expect many compliments on this piece.
